- Be really, really steady: shaky video is hard to watch
- Tripods, monopods, selfie sticks will help hold steady
- Pan and zoom slowly, or pause recording before re-framing
- Zooming in amplifies shakiness and worsens video quality; don't overdo it
- Be mindful of audience noise, especially your own (don't burp)
- Avoid long clips; if recording a whole song, stop when it ends and rest
- Consider editing: even on your phone. Adjust start & end points, join clips
